Soapstone Cats Sleeping - Plain or Paint

Hand crafted by the Kissi Cooperative Society these delighful hand carved cats have been carved from a single piece of rock. The practice involves carving under water or utilising running water from the stream so you can just imagine the state of the carvers hands after thirty or forty years of this. Available sitting or sleeping on natural stone or hand painted. It takes an experienced carver about 2 hrs to craft the basic shape and another hour to finish.
