Soapstone Coaster Set Painted

Hand crafter by the Kissi Cooperative Society this delighful set of six coasters and their holder have been carved from a single piece of rock. The practice involves carving under water or utilising running water from the stream so you can just imagine the state of the carvers hands after thirty or forty years of this. Hand painted and decorated by the Kissi womenfolk.
