We, JAMBOHUT.COM, hereby guarantee unequivocally that all products sold here made from wood or soapstone or sourced from Kenya, The Gambia or Thailand are purchased on a true fair-trade basis directly from the carvers in order that they receive a full and fair market price for their handicrafts.
We have advised the carvers of the prices their goods are sold for in the Europe and the USA and they have confirmed, in writing that they are in agreement that they receive a full and fair price for their handicraft.
We further guarantee that all woods used are kiln dried softwoods from verifiable sustainable sources. Any ebony or teak or mahogany products were carved at least 20 years ago and that we have instigated or enhanced local indigenous planting of three trees for every one used in the products we sell.
